• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse in State of Tennessee
• Minimum of one year LPN practical work experience with a strong background in clinical nursing
• Supervisor and management experience (minimum of 1 year preferred)
• Experience in the field of intellectual disabilities and with health issues that are commonly seen among individuals with intellectual disabilities is preferred
• Knowledge of the rules, policies and procedures and guidelines established by the State of Tennessee for community support programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities is preferred
• Demonstrated leadership/management skills
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, computer), interpersonal skills and time management
• Self motivated and self directed in thoughts and actions consistent with the direction of Pacesetters
• Maintain a Class D driver’s license
• Team player, creative, flexible and professional
• Commitment to team development, team process and accountability
• Demonstrated level of comfort with conflict resolution, problem solving, decision making
• Available for shift work and able to be scheduled upon operational needs of the Agency

Primary Job Responsibilities
Participate in all activities relevant to the requirements of the Professional Support Services license. Responsible for the administration of direct, skilled nursing services, coordination with other disciplines, and all nursing oversight to meet the skilled health needs of the service recipients supported by Pacesetters. Direct monthly supervision of LPN staff will be done by agency RN. Responsible to manage, support and provide training (coordinate training with HSD) and supervision of staff at the medical residential site. Ensure that individuals are involved in outcome related activities and that they have participated in the development of those outcomes, ensure that individuals are involved in meaningful, measurable activities that relate back to ISP outcomes, ensure that all staff are involved with individuals throughout all activities and staff are supportive of individuals in all pursuits to include community involvement and employment opportunities, and serve as a primary point of contact for families of service recipients in the med res program.
